This complimentary workshop seeks to challenge community leaders from all three sectors - non-profit, business and government - to work together and form strategic alliances for the betterment of their organizations and the community.
The goal of the workshop is to help participants learn how to establish and manage strategic alliances across the three sectors and the importance of "leading beyond the walls." The workshop will focus on four phases of effective collaborations; include preparing to meet the challenge, planning strategic alliances, developing those alliances, and periodically renewing them.
The workshop is based on work from the Peter Drucker Foundation and Dr. James E. Austin's The Collaboration Challenge; How Non-Profits and Businesses Succeed through Strategic Alliances.
Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited to 75 people.
